Matthew Tobin (M.T.) Anderson was born in 1968 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Anderson was born to an educated mother and father, with careers in ministry and engineering, respectively. M.T. shared his parents' thirst for knowledge as he attended prestigious academies such as Harvard College, The University of Cambridge (England), and Syracuse University. Since publishing his first novel, Thirsty, in 1997, Anderson has been the recipient of various awards, honors, and publications. Feed was indeed one of Anderson's most successful publications, as the novel became a National Book Award Finalist, as well as the winner of a Los Angeles Times book prize. Anderson has published books aimed at a very broad audience, ranging from thought-provoking reads like Feed all the way to children's picture books. More about M. T.
